How can I become a member?
​
The garden club welcomes new members year round but in order to be included in our annual directory and be eligible for member only events, dues should be collected by October 31st.

May I invite a guest to our monthly meetings?
​
We LOVE guests! Guests may accompany members for a $5.00 fee payable at the meeting.

​How can I stay updated on club activities and events?
​
We keep our members informed through emails. Information will be included on our website and social media. The club also regularly submits information to island communication sources like Tidelines, The Seabrooker and Nextdoor.
How can I suggest an idea for a workshop or program?

We welcome suggestions from members for events, workshops and topics. Please contact us at

What type of workshops and events does the club offer?
We offer our members access to a variety of field trips and workshops throughout the year.

How can I apply for a garden plot?

The garden plots are not managed by the garden club. Please contact SIPOA for more information.

How does the club support the community?

With funds generated from the raffles at our monthly meetings, the garden club is dedicated to giving back to the community through various philanthropic efforts that directly support our local organizations. For example, the club has historically offered an annual scholarship to a deserving student participating in the Trident Technical College Horticultural Program.
